Take It or Leave It is a ministry of Gateway Church that exists to help people in need, by providing certain necessities from others who are willing to give. The focus is generally on household items, although other items may be acceptable.

What is our goal?
To provide a link between people in London who are in need and those who are willing to give, out of a desire to show God’s love and compassion.

Who qualifies for TAKE IT?
Anyone, in the city of London, who has a genuine need for household necessities. Simply click on the
TAKE IT button on the right to fill out a form indicating what you are in need of, and someone will contact you regarding your request.

How can you LEAVE IT?
Simply click on the LEAVE IT button on the right to fill out a form indicating what you would like to donate, and someone will contact you regarding your donation. Please note: We are only able to pick up donations in the city of London.

What can you donate?
We are looking for any household items (excluding mattresses, boxsprings, large appliances, sofa beds, window treatments & electronics) in good condition. Items always needed are bedroom furniture, livingroom furniture, kitchen table/chairs, linens, dishes, cutlery, pots/pans, and baby items (cribs, change tables, high chairs etc.) We kindly ask that you leave “garage sale” items for the garage sale!

How does the timing work?
We will always attempt to work out the timing between items requested and items donated. In every case we ask that people be as flexible as possible in the timing, so we can meet people’s needs and help people to give at the same time!

When are items delivered?
We endeavor to schedule our deliveries on alternate Saturday mornings.

What about privacy?
We do require that you submit some of your personal information to us, so we can be in contact with you. However, we are committed to respecting your privacy. Your information will be sent to only the leadership of this ministry, it will be used only for this purpose, and it will not be given to anyone else.

Gateway Church does not guarantee the quality or reliability of any of the items that are being donated. Gateway Church is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages that may result from the use of any of these items. This is provided only as a service to people.
