252Basics is our Sunday morning curriculum that provides a set of very application-rich tools for parents to teach their children Godly character and key Biblical principles throughout the week; at home, on the road, and at church. We want to partner with you to help your child discover and embrace a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Here’s what we do
Each month, we will focus on a different Christ-like Virtue with different Bible lessons and Bottom Lines each week to teach God’s plan for that Virtue in a child’s life. At Gateway’s KidZone, we want kids to have Christ in their hearts, reflect Jesus’ character and always know wisdom; I need to make the wise choice, faith; I can trust in God no matter what, and friendship; I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.
GodTime Cards and Fridge Doors
- GodTime cards are a series of 4 Bible devotions that go along with the Sunday morning Bible lesson.
The goal is for each child to take a few minutes 4 times per week to complete each devotion. These devotions teach kids how to have special daily Quiet Time with God (in His Word) and continue to reinforce and teach the lesson throughout the week. TIP: We have some parents that use this valuable tool throughout the week as a bedtime devotion for the whole family.
- Fridge Door Cards are for you to put on your…….. refrigerator door….
This card has the Bible Story for the week, the Bottom Line (main theme), and the Memory Verse. Use it as needed to review the lesson and practice the memory verse throughout the week.
Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
