Connect is our ministry to women. It features a variety of events where women can get together and encourage one another to stay connected with God. You are warmly invited to join us … and bring a friend too!

Refresh: Bible Study for Women

First and third Thursday of each month, 9:30 – 11:00 AM from September to May. We try to choose studies that are of varying interests, but would love to hear your suggestions too! Cost is $10/study session + materials. Childcare is available for preschool age children at no extra cost. Watch the Gateway Event List for study dates and details.

Elizabeth’s House

Elizabeth’s House speaker, Melissa Sharpe, uses everyday life experiences to convey God’s message of redeeming love in order to transform us from the inside out. Her call to women’s ministry is fueled by a desire to see God’s people grow and learn by living out His Word. Please note: Childcare is not available for these events. Outreach

Each December we partner with the Regional Mental Health Care Centre to provide gifts for clients who would otherwise receive nothing. Gift givers are given anonymous client information in order to help choose an appropriate gift.

Soccer

Phil Woosnam, former commissioner of the North American Soccer League We play Sunday evenings, 7:00 PM, at the Greek Community Centre (across from the church), during the summer. All skill levels are welcome, but please note, this is just for fun! Registration is required, but is now closed for the 2011 season.
Note: Cleats are highly recommended. Shin guards? You’ll want those for sure! Open to women ages 16 and up.
