Christmas … it’s the most wonderful time of the year! For some people this wonderful time of the year is a reminder of the hurt and pain that’s inside of them; or it’s the dreaded get-together with family members they don’t get along with.
For some, it’s a reminder of what they don’t have, or having to put on that fake smile at the office party and pretend everything’s just great. For many, after the lights are all off, all that’s left are darkness, numbness or even despair.
Two thousand years ago God shone his light into our darkness. That’s the real message of Christmas.
