STEP UP (Courage)

STEP OUT (Obedience)
- It is an act of faith: Hebrews 11:30, James 2:14,17
- It is characteristic of a follower of Jesus: Matthew 7: 21 & Matthew 28:19-20
- It shows that we have come to know Jesus: 1 John 3:4
- It is a mark of true love for Christ: John 14:15, 21, 23 & 24
- It is key to living in the love of Christ: John 15:10, 1 John 2:5
- It is a gateway to God’s blessing: Luke 11:28, 1 John 3:21-22
STEP IN (Commitment)
- The step of dedication: When our fathers reflect dedication, as children we grow to mirror commitment. Joshua 23:6-11
- The step of direction: When our fathers provide direction, as children we grow to discover our purpose. Joshua 23: 4-5
- The step of discipline: When our fathers live disciplined, as children we learn to exercise self-control. Joshua 23:6
- The step of dignity: When our fathers stand with dignity, as children we see ourselves with self-worth. Joshua 23:7-8/li>
- The step of dependence: When our fathers walk in dependence, as children we learn to trust. Joshua 24:13-14
- The step of destiny: When our fathers move forward with a sense of destiny, as children we are released to discover our future.Joshua 24:15-18
